Hey dancers,

There are some changes to the Christmas Performance Rehearsal for this Saturday.

Take note arhs!

Ms Veronica will be selecting dancers to perform "Halo" on this Saturday.

Selected dancers will have to stay back till afternoon four thirty latest, to rehearse the whole dance piece.

Time: 10.00am to 12.30pm (for all dancers)

2.00pm to 4.30pm (for "Halo" dancers only)

Chinese Dance Concert

Hello dancers!!

Ngee Ann Chinese Dance is having a dance concert on this coming Saturday.

I'm wondering if you guys are interested, so that we can go watch it together!

It would be a very good exposure as there are contemporary elements in it.

Important Dates for Christmas Performance Rehearsals.

I have updated the schedule with the dates for our rehearsals.

Please make sure you take a look at the timings.

Take note that on this Saturday, please be present at the studio by TEN sharp.

On this coming Monday, Ms Veronica will selecting dancers for "Halo", so please don't miss it.

Committee Recruitment INTERVIEW

Hello!

To all those who are coming for interview on Monday, please take note.

We will start interviewing from 5.30pm.

As what we have observed today, each interview took about 15 to 20 mins.

If we are unable to finish everyone's interview by 6.30pm, we'll continue after dance rehearsal, which is 8.30pm.

So just take note, please be present in your casual formal attire, outside Block 71 #02-03. Bring along your filled-up form too.

For those who hasn't register, but is still keen to come for interview, we are very nice, you can come at 5.30pm as well. hahas =)

Yes, dance class will still be on for tmr. It's just that Ms Veronica wouldn't be around. =)

Christmas Performance

Hello Dancers,

Agains, as mentioned in class, we will be having a Christmas Performance coming up.

Venue: Ngee Ann City

Date: 19th December 2009

We will be putting up two items.

1) A Christmas related dance item to the song "Sleigh Ride".

We have started the choreography today. We will be taking in a maximum of 30 dancers for this item.

2) A more technically sound dance item

Limited dancers will be chosen for this item. Song to be confirmed again.

Up till now, everyone should be very sure that Attendance is very important.

I'm gonna say this again, if you guys wants to get the chance to perform, COMMITMENT is crucial. Dancers who are inactive with/without valid reasons will be taken off from the performance. Depending on how frequently you are absent.

We have not much rehearsals left with Veronica, so please please be considerate and don't miss rehearsals. =)

Just a gentle reminder to all of you.

For those who hasn't return the Black Skirts/ Hats which we used for "That's Not My Name" dance piece, kindly please bring it on Saturday. =)

And congratulations to those who just performed for the BA Top Student's Awards Ceremony! =) It was overall a good performance. Keep it up, and continue to improve okay!

Oh and don't forget to bring your blue skirts to return to the owners. =)

Hello dancers.

This announcement applies to all D3 dancers. Including those who aren't involved in the performance.

Please take note that Dance classses will resume on 29th June, 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Studio 18-04-09.

Class will start sharply at 6.30pm. don't be late, be in your proper attire and see you dancers there!! =)

D3 is opening a Second and Last round of recruitment for this year. So those who are interested in joining D3, PLEASE TAKE NOTE.
Before we can take you in, you are required to come for a trial dance class, and a short interview. If you are interested, please register by messaging YuTing(96207776) your name, course year and student number. And please notify Yuting when you come for the trial dance class. =)

Details of the trial dance class:

Date: 29th June 2009
Time: 6.30pm to 8.30pm (be there at 6.20pm)
Venue: studio 18-04-0009
Attire: T Shirt and stretchable pants/track pants/tights. (no jeans, no shorts, no bermudas)

To the person who asked whether you should come back on Sat for the group sharing session.
Thanks for raising up that question. =)

We will stop the Group Sharing Sessions for now.
Reason being, we need to focus a lot more on our Rehearsals.

Alrights, just to remind you guys about the few things that were brought up during Monday's Practice. Which is yesterday. =)

1)Rehearsal on 30th MAY
---Rehearsal will only apply to those who are involved in the "Breaking Ground" Item.
---The rest are not required to turn up. =)
---So "breaking ground" people, there's still dance rehearsal this saturday at ten SHARP. =)

2) CommonTest Week.
---Dance rehearsals will stop for two weeks.
---From : 1th June 09 to 12th June 09
---Rehearsal resumes on : 13th June 09
[Those who are still having exams on 13th June will be excused. eg. BA student. But please rmb to msg if you cannot turn up even if you got exams. Let me know, for attendance sake.I'll appreciate it very much. ((: ]

3) Costumes Design.
---In-Charge For the Mass Piece: Stenphel
---Assistant: Charmaine.
---Please get the sample of the costume all ready by the 13th June 09.
---Kindly remind your in-charge and assistant to get the things going. We have not much time -----left.

4) Club fund for the month of MAY.
---For those who haven't pay the club fund to XinYing, please automatically go to XinYing to pay ---$8, the very next time you turn up for rehearsal thankyou. =)

I want to stress again, to those people who hasn't turn up for certain rehearsals without informing me. It is EVERYONE's responsibility to inform anyone in the committee the reason why you cannot make it to a rehearsal. Inform them before the practice! Alrights?

So, we need to brainstorm together real quick this coming Sat about what we are going to wear for our dance item. =) Please brainstorm in your mind first on the cheapest way of presenting the wear out before we come together this Sat. Yeah? =)
