Dance Rehearsal on Saturday.

Hello fellow D3 Dancers,

Please bear in mind, dance class has already resume since Monday 21th Dec 09. =)

We will be having a dance rehearsal this Saturday to prepare for Ngee Ann Open House Performance on the 7th, 8th and 9th January 2010.

What we will be going to do is, we will be learning and polishing on two dance pieces: most probably "Halo" and "Whatever It Takes". [We might be doing Breaking Ground as well]

If possible, all dancers who has performed this three items before, please be present for this rehearsal. =)

We will also be looking out for other dancers to perform for this two item too.

Hey all dancers who are involved in this Christmas Performance please take note.

Costumes for Sleigh ride will be somewhat similar to what we wore for "That's Not My Name", with the suspenders on. The difference is that now, we all are wearing black and white. =)

January Open House Booth Duty

Hi all dancers, there'll be an Open House on 7th, 8th and 9th January 2010. It'll be from 10am to 6pm.
There'll be a booth for us to display our CCA and hence it's encouraged that all dancers participate to do the duty of tending the booth on these days. CCA points will be awarded.

Committee Recruitment INTERVIEW

To all those who are coming for interview on Monday, please take note.

We will start interviewing from 5.30pm.

As what we have observed today, each interview took about 15 to 20 mins.

If we are unable to finish everyone's interview by 6.30pm, we'll continue after dance rehearsal, which is 8.30pm.

So just take note, please be present in your casual formal attire, outside Block 71 #02-03. Bring along your filled-up form too.

Christmas Performance

Hello Dancers,

Agains, as mentioned in class, we will be having a Christmas Performance coming up.

Venue: Ngee Ann City

Date: 19th December 2009

We will be putting up two items.

1) A Christmas related dance item to the song "Sleigh Ride".

We have started the choreography today. We will be taking in a maximum of 30 dancers for this item.

2) A more technically sound dance item

Limited dancers will be chosen for this item. Song to be confirmed again.

Up till now, everyone should be very sure that Attendance is very important.

I'm gonna say this again, if you guys wants to get the chance to perform, COMMITMENT is crucial. Dancers who are inactive with/without valid reasons will be taken off from the performance. Depending on how frequently you are absent.

We have not much rehearsals left with Veronica, so please please be considerate and don't miss rehearsals. =)

D3 is opening a Second and Last round of recruitment for this year. So those who are interested in joining D3, PLEASE TAKE NOTE.

---So "breaking ground" people, there's still dance rehearsal this saturday at ten SHARP. =)

2) CommonTest Week.
---Dance rehearsals will stop for two weeks.
---From : 1th June 09 to 12th June 09
---Rehearsal resumes on : 13th June 09
[Those who are still having exams on 13th June will be excused. eg. BA student. But please rmb to msg if you cannot turn up even if you got exams. Let me know, for attendance sake.I'll appreciate it very much. ((: ]

Recruitment and performance.

Hi Dancers!

Due to Vesak Day this Saturday (09/05/09), there will be no dance practice.
By now you should have attended at least one or two sessions of dance practice with us.
We hope you have enojoyed.

Now, there's a few anouncements to make.

1)Membership

After the sessions of dance practice with us, we need your final confirmation as to whether you will be joining us as a member. (And this has to be proven from your commitment to us.) =) Recruitment will be closed on Monday, so please reply ASAP.
This is also the last chance for those who hasn't register during CCA fiesta to still join us as members. Bear in mind, no more trial classes. =)

2)Upcoming performance in June.

Performance will be six weeks from now. Exact dates and More details for this performance will be anounced again. If you are interested to participate in the performance please let us know. However, you will also need to fulfill the condition that you will be able to join us for dance choreography and practices EVERY Monday and Saturday. We need dancers who are able to commit.

New instructor

Hello dancers~
As we all know, we have got ourselves a new instructor, Veronica. =)
I'm quite sure that all of us loves her. hahax..
She will be preparing us for our next performance which is the CCA fiesta.
Another project coming up will be Business School's event.

And so dancers, please please try to make it to all the practices. we NEEDA PRACTICE.
If you really cannot make it to any practice, make it a habit to let the committee know two days before hand. Thanks arhs.
